Rackspace provides 24 X 7 X 365 physical, operational and system security to protect Confidant hardware, internet connectivity, and your personal information:
Data and System Security
Dedicated firewalls block unauthorized system access.
Sensors and fire detection/suppression systems detect and minimize environmental hazards.
Uninterruptible and redundant power supplies mitigate short-term power failures.
Diesel generators mitigate risk of long term utility power failures.
Multiple-redundant network utilizes nine different connections to the internet.
In the event of a catastrophe at one data center, all data and operations from that facility are routed to other facilities.
Physical Security
Security personnel are onsite 24X7X365 days of the year.
Data center access is restricted to Rackspace employee technicians only.
Biometric scanning is used to control access to the data center.
